Arch Block
Ko uke
Augmented Block
Morote uke - One arm and fist support the other arm in a block.
Back of hand block
Haishu Uke - A block using the back of the hand.
Back of the arms block
Haiwan Uke
Back of hands'X' block
Haishu Juji Uke - using the back of the hands.
Double wedging block
Kakiwake - A two handed block using the outer surface of the wrist to neutralize a two-handed attack, such as a grab.
Elbow block
Hiji Uke - A blocking action using the elbow.
Forearm block
Ude Uke
Hooking block
Kage Uke
Inside block
Uchi Uke - Mid body block with an inside to outside motion of the forearm.

Naiwan Uke
Joined Hand Block
Awase Uke

Gedan Barai
